Age Group : 3.5 Years to 4.5 Years
At this stage children prepare themselves for a formal school experience. The Junior KG Program at Proton is designed to get them ready for school by teaching letters, words, math concepts and valuable social skills.
Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment within which the developmental needs of each child will be met. Readiness skills will be strengthened prior to entry into the formal education system. We recognize the uniqueness of each child. The pace of learning may differ from student to student, but all children will be treated uniformly to reach their greatest potential – cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally.
At this stage, the curriculum is augmented with additional activities and learning tools with enhanced focus on complex concepts like independent reasoning and problem solving. Besides mastering the pertinent skills, children are involved in activities like drama, the arts, music and introduction to computers.
The children at this stage have already developed their fine and gross motor skills, thus we focus on developing the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills.
